Hitting with the Callaway Mavrik Driver confirmed my suspicions, this driver is an excellent piece of technology constructed by Callaway that packages distance, forgiveness, and feel into the club.

Oh… and I cannot forget about the sound. Contact with the face of the Mavrik sounds absolutely phenomenal.

Specs of the Mavrik I tested: HZRDUS T800 regular flex shaft, 10.5 degree loft.

The Mavrik driver head is a nice 460cc in size, which adds to the forgiveness it provides to beginner golfers and higher handicaps who may struggle with hitting it straight.

It is also feels relatively lightweight to swing, which can also be beneficial to those golfers with a slower swing speed.

The adjustable loft hosel allows for fine-tuning your trajectory and ball flight.

It's impressively lightweight, and the sound it makes while swinging and hitting the ball is truly satisfying.

Even if you do have some wayward drives in your round, it is going to at least sound amazing doing so.

Overall though, there really isn’t a flaw in this driver that I could find.
